What we do
Smith & Son’s Produce is an established family owned business operating in Los Angeles County. Whether you own a local or national chain restaurant, catering service, school, or are a special event handler, we are prepared to meet your needs. We deliver 6 days a week, beginning every morning by loading our refrigerated trucks with fresh produce and other food items and delivering them directly to you. We offer a wide variety of products ranging from produce, dairy items, dried goods (nuts, beans, rice, dried fruits), juices, and frozen goods (French fries, fruits, vegetables, chicken wings, mozzarella sticks, onion rings, fried zucchini, etc..). Our team thrives on quality customer service and maintaining a strong relationship with each customer.

Our history
In 1931, after serving in the US military, Ted Smith established Smith’s Produce to meet the demands of local restaurants. He began delivering fresh produce to restaurants throughout Los Angeles county. He went on to open a produce market in La Canada, California, which eventually closed it’s doors in the early 1980’s. Since then, the following generations have continued to deliver quality produce to restaurants and eventually adopted the name of Smith & Son’s Produce.
